The man behind the tool – Tim Leatherman held a variety of jobs before traveling abroad which ultimately led to the Leatherman multipurpose tool concept. Tim built the company on a simple philosophy: manufacture product on time, meet specifications, increase value, and provide a pleasant work environment.
